Asa Mayo Bradley (1856-1937) was born in Brewster, Massachusetts. He entered the ministry after having worked in cabinet-making for over 20 years, and was ordained in the Universalist Church by the California State Convention in 1895. Bradley held mission pastorates in Spokane, Washington, and Portland, Oregon, from 1895 to 1897 and then served congregations in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
